Vintage clothing has given me the ability to
transform my wardrobe and has allowed me to experiment with my trends
and a new of self-expression, which has given me the confidence to
embrace my curves. Along with building confidence, I’ve learnt how to
tailor clothes to my shape as simple tricks like adding a waist belt or
adding elastic into your clothes can change how a piece of clothing can
look on your body.
An example of this fantastic floral two-piece from
Cow Vintage. I purchased this retro co-ord two years, and I’ve enjoyed
bringing back out this remade clothing during this summer. For this
bohemian style outfit, I paired this floral number with my brown slider
sandals and my personalised brown backpack as the tanned leather match
the worm tones in my top and shorts. However, for an evening look, you
can easily switch up the footwear and bag for a sandal heel or wedge and
pair it with a shoulder or clutch bag for an effortless summery outfit.
